Thanks to the many forums where I am a member for their automated birthday greetings. It's a great idea. When members register, the forum asks for the date of birth. Usually, only the day and month are required for privacy.
When the member's special day arrives, an automatic Happy Birthday message is sent to the member's e-mail.
The recipient is usually pleased to receive the greeting as a nice gesture.
I thought it was a nice touch, and a great idea for online marketers to consider adding to their sites.
Anything that adds a personal touch to a business, or to a business blog, is a good idea and worthy of consideration.
