Amy H. Handlin (photo left) is the Deputy Minority Leader of the New Jersey General Assembly. Dr. Amy Handlin has been at Monmouth University since 1991. She holds a BA from Harvard, an MBA from Columbia, and a PhD from New York University. She teaches marketing and advertising on the undergraduate level, and marketing management in the MBA program.

She has a particular interest in the ethical problems of prescription drug advertising, and has also written about survey design, message framing, information comprehension, and other marketing communication topics.

Amy Handlin is the author of Be Your Own Lobbyist: How to Give Your Small Business Big Clout with State and Local Government.

Dr. Handlin lives in Middletown Township.
