Canada Day is July 1 and celebrates the Confederation of Canada from July 1, 1867.
Canada was much smaller in those days, featuring only the Provinces of Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia. Since then, Canada has grown to ten Provinces, and three Territories, and the second largest land area country in the world.
Here's to all of my Canadian friends, and to friends of Canada everywhere around the world.
