Blog Carnival added to the family

The family of internet blog Carnivals has added a new member.

In fact, the Carnival relates to precisely that overall theme.

The Family Picnic is the latest addition to the blog Carnival midway.

It makes sense, as Carnivals are great entertainment for the entire family.

The Family Picnic is the brainchild of the busy and creative blogger, Trudy Schuett of WOLves and Food Basics.

She will be hosting the first ever Family Picnic Carnival on January 9, 2005 on her DesertLight Journal blog.

About the format and submissions to the Family Picnic, Trudy has this to say:

When I was growing up, Sunday was always Family day, so that’s the day it’ll appear. It’ll work the same as the Carnivals – send a recent blog entry by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time Saturday to picnic-at-desertlightjournal-dot-com

Please submit in this format:

Title of your Blog:

URL of your Blog:

Title of your post:

URL linking to that post:

Trackback URL, if any:

Description of the post:

The entry should be about any issue that impacts the family. This can be anything such as: marriage, divorce, parenting, domestic violence, education, etc. Essays from a personal point of view on these topics are also welcome. Please keep in mind this is not a contest! It’s a way for bloggers to share their ideas with readers outside their usual readership.

Trudy is also looking for volunteer bloggers to host future editions of the Family Picnic.

Since I'm sure you were looking to host at least one edition of Family Picnic, Trudy should have no problems finding hosts.

Right?

The e-mail to send those entries and to become a volunteer host is:

Be sure to join the Family Picnic.
