It's a growing trend everywhere. We see bloggers interviewing other bloggers on a daily basis.
Some bloggers, like Darren Rowse of Pro Blogger are actively seeking professional bloggers to interview for ideas and revenue generation experiences.
Several blogs feature blogger interviews as a regular part of their blog's program, as a series.
There is also a trend toward bloggers appearing on radio, as the fast growing internet Blogosphere Radio clearly demonstrates.
Of course, the real test, in the eyes of the mainstream, are the print and over the airwaves broadcast media. That is where the blog interview growth is already clearly noticeable.
Bloggers are being seen, read, and heard in the mainstream media.
As newspaper and magazine journalists discover the writings of bloggers, they are beginning to take the blog medium more seriously. While the attitude change is not happening as rapidly as many bloggers would like, the mood is indeed shifting.
Bloggers are becoming mainstream.
We hear bloggers discuss our craft on the radio. The immediate feedback that bloggers can provide, makes us ideal for the high speed of radio journalism.
We will soon be seeing bloggers are regular panelists on political and business television programs.
As soon as bloggers become entirely mainstream, Gordon Smith of Conglomerate won't have to be forced to endure the same news story about blogs over and over.
That day is right around the corner.
Blogs are almost entirely, but not quite, ubiquitous.
Maybe in the next week or so, however, we will be.
