The bidding has been closed on Jeremy's eBay public auction of his blogging talents.
Some fast and furious bidding ensued, over the final day before the closing of the sale. When the dust finally settled, a final selling price of $3350.00 USD was reached.
The winning bid was placed by was InksPress.com.
In my opinion, $3350 USD is a fair, if probably a slightly underpriced amount, to hire the skills of a first rate blogger like Jeremy Wright.
For Jeremy's reaction to the sale, and as he attempts to make sense of the entire affair, he has written an "End of the Auction" post.
As you know, I have been following this blog services sale story, complete with daily updates.

Bidding on Darren's auction should pick up rapidly, following the completion of Jeremy's sale. The unsuccessful bidders for Jeremy's skills can still obtain the first class talents of Darren Barefoot.
More importantly for the entire blogging community, an initial starting benchmark price has now been established for professional blogging services.
Using Jeremy's final bid as a yardstick, other bloggers offering their skills as writers and blogging consultants now have a pricing guideline.
The eBay auctions highlighted the actual approximate dollar value, supplied by both a blog and a good blog writer and consultant.
The auction sales have also spread the word of blogs to a wider segment of the business community than previously reached. The media coverage of these blogger service sales has raised the profile of business blogs, and of bloggers as individual business professionals.
Overall, the effect has been a very positive one for all concerned, including the sellers, the buyer, and for the entire blogging community.
Now, all Jeremy Wright has to do, is get to his professional blogging.
